A mom not a pro
I just started a new fun project: www.amomnotapro.blogspot.com this is just a blog of a mom who loves to be creative and having fun with a smorgasbord of hobbies. I am not a professional nor a perfectionist as you will soon notice. Enjoy!

Hilarious!
Aiden runs to the potty and then says to me a couple of minutes later with his pants down to his ankles "mommy my poopy exploded!"
Aiden says "ethan loves daddy and i love you" I reply "well guess what buddy you can love both of us me and daddy." Aiden says "no mommy I can't" I answer "you know I love you and Ethan. I love both of you at the same time" Sillly boy is trying to figure out love at age 2.
I was napping with Aiden and next thing I know I have his little finger up my nose.

a womans touch
Above are frosty the snowman cupcakes that I spent hours working on to get the details just right. Below is Bens frosty the snowman cupcakes. I walked into the kitchen just before he put his plastic wrap over them and I said "are you done?" he said yup. Don't you want to make it look more like a snowman? he answered "nope, its all going to be eaten anyways."
This was our first ever Christmas away from family. It was sad to be so faraway from them but the Lord was good by giving us friends to celebrate with.
We started our Christmas month with an advent calendar I had created. I had never done this before because it looked overwhelming. And nonetheless, it proved to be a lot of work but my hopes are that next year it will be easier since we got it set up already. And almost every night we would go see what surprise was awaiting us to focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Here is Ben reading to the boys during one of our advent night activities.
