I ran my first race here in Quito. It was the Nike Human race which was designed for people from around the world to run on the same day. Ecuador had the highest elevation of all the countries that registered. So all that to say I was proud of myself for running a 10k in such high elevation.
Recognize the socks? I wore these for my 1/2 marathon in Feb. people didn't respond to them at all here in Ecuador. When I wore them in the states everyone thought they were hilarious! I had fun wearing them either way.
